- Ledger Stax is a next generation product - and the world's first secure touchscreen.
It's a complex industrial puzzle and a milestone for crypto users.
Here's the story of how we brought Ledger Stax to life - from its initial genesis with inventor Tony Fadell to our journey with Ledger Stax's curved e-ink screen.
This is a total scam, I lent 300 dollars to ledger for more than two years with zero interest, and yet, they still didn’t ship my stax.
Hey there - we're in the process of shipping all pre-ordered Stax devices. We are in the second batch. Please keep an eye on the email you used to pre-order. We'll send you a shipping notification once your Stax has been dispatched. Thank you for your patience!
Finally started shipping this month. After a year and half of waiting I got mine yesterday. The screen is something else. It doesn’t have an LCD display. Uses a OTFT display which is very light weight and minimalistic. Also more energy efficient, the display doesn’t eat up the battery as much.
Yes, excited to test it out.
Very sharp looking. Looking forward to getting one in probably six months to a year from now. Nano X works fine for my needs now.
about time. waiting ages for this.
Resilience, let's go Ledger let's go!
If you’ve ever used Nano X you fully appreciate this device.
I love this company
Can you at least filter out all these scam comments? Wow... not a good look
Can you explain more about the challenges faced in developing the secure touch screen for Ledger Stacks and how it differs from traditional touch screens? for the real estte guys like me: What's your take on projects like Asset Avenue?
I will being buying these for family
Mine arrived today after waiting 2 years and the screen is damaged.
Hmm another project I hear, hopefully its different firmwares we can choose.
I hope nice product
pity it wasnt a colour screen, otherwise a nice device.
🤘
Pre sale method
Stax is gonna get you.
It only comes with 1MB of memory (lol). Less than the Nano S Plus. So, if you want to run a couple of apps you need to stax some stax.
Brainlet, you don’t run apps on a ledger
2:24-2:26 masterpiece inception
where is this being manufactured? china? vietnam?
china
@@vikeshk6127 the numberplate of the car at 29 seconds is not a mainland Chinese numberplate, it GPTs as Vietnam or Cambodia.
NOT shipping on the german page ?
Is there a back door on this device?
There is no "backdoor" on any ledger device. Whoever told you that does not know what they are talking about. You are referring to the Ledger Backup where your seed is sent from device to a cloud backup in 3 parts. There does not exist 1 single hardware wallet that actually prevents that from happening. None what-so-ever. The difference however is some wallets are open source like Trezor so you can see no code is put in there to send your seed to any servers. With ledger its closed source so you just gotta trust them on it. You actually have to PAY to use the backup feature which means unless you are paying money for something you do not want like a bonehead then you have zero to worry about. But then again those trezors were pretty easy for hackers once they have their hands on it to use voltage spikes to essentially dump your seed from device. Guy on youtube did it a few times.
So the choice is yours. Use a device that has no backup features but can be hacked if they gain physical access or quite whining like a little beotch and actually have even some clue what the hell you are yapping on about.
@@scriptlesone man gets up and slow claps.
Two more men get up and slow claps.
5 more men get up and slow claps.
Half the room is standing and clapping.
Entire standing ovation.
@@archetype1987 There are 2 types of people in this world.. those who can read schematics and code and those who cannot. Those that can, have a better understanding of what is possible and how things work.. those who cannot just guess what is possible. Ignorance, it's a bliss and a curse. No need to clap because all those 1 handed people are going to end up smacking themselves on the head to make a clap sound since there in the slow clap crowd. Personally I never seen the slow clap crowd because the people I hang around have a few more braincells then that but hey cheers! You gotta start somewhere. Aspire to make it where I have, it's nice and comfortable here. ;)
@@scriptles there’s several videos of Ledger staff admitting there is a back door for the police to extract the keys in the event of a seizure.
Many other wallets have protections against this very thing.
@@ThomasConover show me these videos because I swear I have seen videos that have said the complete opposite.
Self-congratulation at its finest......you'd thought they solved some world-class problems from this video
they did....the world class problem of crypto security.
You apparently have never used the Nano X
⭐⭐⭐⭐💫👍🙏❤️
Great product , now Send BTC to 100k please 🙏
new generation of product??? with only 1MB on storage for apps???
Open source ?
At Ledger, openness and transparency are among our core values, and we are committed to upholding them. We're working to reduce the need for trust by making more of our source code available for review and verification, and by publishing more of our OS components while respecting the intellectual property of our Secure Element vendor.
You can learn more about our approach to open-source software in this article: support.ledger.com/hc/en-us/articles/11132311094813-Ledger-s-approach-to-open-source-software?docs=true
I want to return the Stax and have contacted your customer support. But the links dont give me the necessary information to receive the return documentation. Very poorly designed website. My Nano X is a great product but i lost interest in the Stax a good year ago. Not a happy customer!
